Musician, producer, DJ and band director. Since graduating from Leeds College of Music Pilo has been working with Nina Miranda (Smoke City, Zeep), Nubiyan Twist (Feat. on BBC 1Xtra & BBC radio 6) & Afrosamba. Born in Brazil and now based in the UK Pilo has 16 years of experience performing and touring around the UK and Europe in festivals and venues such as: Meltdown Festival (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Jazz Café (Camden), Band on the Wall (Manchester), supporting artists like Quantic, Robert Glasper and Hot 8 Brass Band.
Producer, pianist and musical director. Aron is a versatile musician trained at LCM n Jazz (1st class) but with passions for Soul and Brazillian music. He has been working extensively with Thabo & Real Deal playing in top venues supporting artists such as Anthony Hamilton and JP Cooper as well as featuring in the BBC 1 Live lounge. He is experienced in the studio as a musician and producer working for artists and labels in the UK & USA. As an educator he has been leading workshops over 4 years for Live Music Now, Nymaz and Pied Piper.
Alec graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2013 with a BA in Jazz Studies and is now performing with a wide array of different artists. He was part of Nubiyan Twist who have spent much of 2015 touring the UK, as well as having a festival filled summer including a date at Fusion Festival in Germany, and David Byrne’s Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre. In May 2015 Alec toured China with the Carpenters (Carpenters tribute show) which included 5 dates in some of the country major cities and most prestigious venues including Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre and Beijing Exhibition Theatre.
Internationally renowned drummer, percussionist, teacher and arranger, Elias Kacomanolis main inspiration stems from his original African roots mixed with European and Latin music. Born in Mozambique, Elias has been invited to accompany a diversity of artists and/or bands for worldwide tours all over the globe, such as: Waldemar Bastos, Carmen Souza, Paulino Vieira, Sons da Lusofonia, Paulo Flores, Jandira Silva, Costa Neto, Filipe Mukenga, Navegante, Miguel Rebelo, and Claudio de Brito. As a session recording drummer, Elias recorded in "Pretaluz/ Blacklight" and "Renaissance" by Waldemar Bastos, "Canta meu Semba" by Paulo Flores, "Mandjolo" by Costa Neto and participated in albums for Kimi Djabate, Maria Alice, Simentera, Helvio and Angelo Boss. A self-taught drummer, Elia’s ability to pass on energetic, dynamic and vibrant messages through his playing, has led him to start a successful teaching career in 2007. Later in 2009 he decided to join the University of Salford to take a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music, being awarded with First Class Honors in 2013.
